How to get free stuff during the month of your birthday
It’s my birthday month! And for me, this is my favorite time of year because I get freebies and deals from retailers for just being born during the month of October. I keep track of all the offers by bookmarking them in a folder in my email inbox. You’d be amazed at how happy this makes me. I look forward to this time of year. I make my rounds to my favorite retailers and brands throughout the month. From free food to free makeup to discounted clothing, you’ll be amazed at what’s available at little to no cost.
There are a lot of great deals available locally in Atlanta and nationally. I was surprised by how many restaurants and retailers celebrate your birthday. Who doesn’t love a good freebie on their birthday? Here’s a list of places where you can score a few birthday gifts.
Restaurant Freebies
Auntie Anne’s- App subscribers get a free pretzel for their birthday. The reward will be loaded in the app for a short period of time during the month.
Benihana-Email subscribers receive a $30 birthday certificate. Offer available during the entire month.
Chicken Salad Chick- Receive an Original Chick meal on your birthday
Chick-Fil-A- Receive a free cookie on your birthday. Offer is loaded onto the Chick-Fil-A app.
Coldstone Creamery- One free Coldstone Creamery creation. They even have a vegan ice cream variety now.
Chopt- A $5 birthday reward will be loaded on the app.
Cava- You’ll receive a $9 birthday reward loaded on the app if your birthday is registered on your profile.
Caribou Coffee- Receive a free drink on your birthday.
California Pizza Kitchen- Receive a free dessert on your birthday. You must be a member of their CPK rewards program.
Dunkin Donuts- DD rewards members receive 3 x points on their birthday. Reward members will also receive a free drink on their birthday.
Edible Arrangements- You’ll receive a free 12 Count Chocolate Dipped Fruit box during your birthday month if you are a rewards program member.
Firehouse Subs- Receive a free medium sub on your birthday. You have until 6 days after your birthday to use your reward.
Flower Child- Receive a free dessert with any other purchase.
First Watch-Free birthday meal with the purchase of another.
Honey Baked Ham- Buy one sandwich and get one free.
Maggiano’s-Free $10 gift certificate towards a purchase of an entree.
Marlow’s Tavern- This is a local restaurant in the Atlanta area. On your birthday you receive $10 off an entree.
Nothing Bundt Cakes- A free mini bundt cake on your birthday. You must be an eClub member to receive the cake.
P.F. Chang’s- A free dessert with the purchase of an entree.
Piece of Cake- This is a local bakery in the Atlanta area with several locations throughout the city. On your birthday they gift you a slice of cake.
Provino’s Italian Restaurant- Provino’s is a local Atlanta Italian restaurant that has been around for decades. On your birthday, if you dine in or take out, you are eligible to receive a free entree. You just must show your photo ID to verify your birthdate. My family and I have made a trip to Provino’s a birthday tradition.
Starbucks- On your birthday and wedding day, you can get any handcrafted drink in any size with any customizations (usually limited to $20)
Sweet Green- App users who have registered their birthday on the profile will receive a $10 Birthday Reward.
Tin Drum-This Asian fast-casual restaurant is local to Atlanta but most recently opened a location in Houston Texas and has its eye on expanding to other states. If you have a Tim Drum near you, rewards members are invited to celebrate their birthday by enjoying a free entree.
YardHouse- Enjoy a complimentary birthday dessert when you dine in-house.
Zinburger- Enjoy a free dessert at any Fox Restaurant’s concept during your birthday month.
Retail Freebies
Anthropologie- AnthroPerks members can enjoy 20 percent off a purchase during your birthday month. Discount is not eligible on sale items.
DSW- Receive $5 off any order during your birthday month. Elite rewards customers receive $10 off any purchase. You must be a member of their VIP rewards program.
J. Crew- Non-credit card members receive $10 off any purchase during their birthday month.
Sephora-Beauty Insiders at Sephora are eligible to receive a free mini-size product from some of their top brands. The product offering changes throughout the year, but the items are always great. You have until the end of the month to claim your gift.
Loft- styleRewards members can receive up to $15 in birthday reward credits to use during their birthday month.
Madewell- Insider members can take $25 off their next purchase during their birthday month.
Talbots- Loyalty card holders can receive 10 percent off any full price item during their birthday month.
Ulta- Utlamate Rewards members will receive a free cosmetic product during their birthday month and 2x bonus points on any purchases. Last year I received a sample of Clinique’s Moisture Surge Product.
